Random Thoughts on a Wednesday
- President Obama, yes that has a very nice ring to it.
- Jeff Kent is retiring from baseball today, he may not have been a media favorite, but statistically he has been one of the most consistent second basemen of all time. Should be a first ballot Hall of Famer.
- I am addicted to the arcade at www.thehackersparadise.com. It’s a golfing forum, but one of the features of the website is the arcade. You have to register to use it though.
- I went to check out tickets to take Bella to the USC Basketball game on January 31st against Cal. The total price for two tickets in the upper level… $77. C’mon now.
- I’ve literally banged my head 3 times on the office window today in frustration.
- I had a client today call who got a refund check for $1,000. The check should have actually been sent to her mortgage company since they paid for her insurance. Her house had been foreclosed on and she told me she only has $13 to ger her through the week. So, she could either call the mortgage company and forward the check to them, or she could cash the check and have some money now until one day down the road the mortgage company contacts her to collect the missing $1,000.

- After hearing yet another Sublime song on the radio I wondered if the other members of the band had ever resurfaced. I never knew that the other two members formed Long Beach Dub All Stars. Also, the son of the late singer of Sublime is now 14 years old.
- I think we are going to make two road trips this spring. One up to see Genie’s Aunt in Livermore and one down to Glendale, AZ to check out the Dodgers new sprint training facilities.
