Where’s the Storm?
The one thing that Genie and I always complain about is the lack of weather in Southern California. Yeah, we love the sun and the blue skies, but when Fall/Winter rolls around we want some rain and cold air.
Well, Friday night the meterologists were saying that it was going to rain from Saturday thru Thursday. Then it became Sunday thru Wednesday, then Monday through Wednesday morning, and now it’s already clearing at 4p on Monday. What the heck happened? So very dissapointing.
Well, the good news is that I haven’t heard of any mud slides in the burn areas that were hit a month or so ago. And the local mountains got some good snow, so hopefully we can take Bella up there in the near future.
I know what you’re saying. You are probably saying we should move if we don’t like the weather here, because there are plenty of areas already hit hard by ice and snow.
Nah, we can’t move, we’d miss the good weather. :O)

Let’s Dust This Off
Well, it’s already been six months since my last post here. The summer has come and gone and we are already just a couple weeks away from Christmas. Are you in the Christmas spirit? I think I am, but the stresses of my finals have my mind preoccupied. I think once I take my Statistics exam (tonight) I will start feeling a lot better. Heck, this stress has even made me sick. Last night I sat down ready for a good six hour cram session and I came down with a sore throat and fever just a couple hours into it.
So what’s been going on? Well, to be honest, not much has changed. That’s more of a good thing than a bad thing. Bella is growing up so well, Genie and I are growing in our marriage (we will hit 5 years in February), and we now have a total of 5 cats.
As far as I go personally, I’m still fighting the battle of following through on my goals. I keep getting myself pumped up, but then when it comes time to execute I fall short. I’m working on being a better person though, and accomplishing all the goals I have floating around in my head.
‘Till next time…
