Something more awaits…

I sit here wondering why I let my job affect me so much. I work hard, yet I know there will never be any praise from who I work for. Every day seems like a struggle to earn respect, but do I even care who that respect comes from? I’m not so sure. All I can do is do my best every day.

I just know something more awaits me. Something more rewarding, something I’m passionate about. Someday I will get there.

Is There a Felon Living Near You?

 Somebody in the message board I read daily posted this link to felonspy.com. Apparently you can enter your address and it will show you where the felons are living in your neighborhood.

It’s still in a BETA status (meaning they are working the bugs out), but it is an interesting concept.

Happy Birthday, Grandpa

Well, today is my Grandpa’s birthday. Or, it should have been his birthday. No, I was right, it is his birthday and it will always be his birthday. He never wanted a party or even a birthday cake, but I would always call him to wish him happy birthday.

Grandpa, I didn’t forget your birthday this year either. I know you hear my prayers and that you are still with us. We look at the picture of you and Bella everyday. I promise to tell her those funny stories you always told me. And one day, many years from now when I am a Grandpa too, I will be just as loving as you were.

Please give Grandma a kiss for me, I miss you both so much.

Hey America, use your f’ng blinker when you are driving damn it! When you are traveling at 45mph in front of me and suddenly stop to make a right turn, it would help if you gave me a heads up by using your turn signal!!!!!!
